There are a multitude of ways to get in touch with me…
Please bear in mind that this address is heavily spam filtered because it is publicly posted. If you do not receive a timely response then please resend your email and consider phoning my voicemail also.
I have recently begun using S/Mime certificates for sender verification and encryption. I currently whitelist all incoming email that has a valid and verifiable s/mime certificate attached. The nicest thing about this is that once we have exchanged certificates, simply by each receiving an email from the other with an attached certificate, we can then encrypt all subsequent emails to ensure a better level of privacy in our communications.

Web Presence
Some sites that I either administer or contribute to:
- Blogs:
- Argument On The Web - Where I talk about argumentation theory and critical thinking.
- Cult of the Green Man – My musings on permaculture, design, and computation.
- StrangeAeons – My weblog containing anything that doesn't fit neatly into my topic specific blogs.
- The Mechanical Turk - Where I talk about Artificial Intelligence.
- Think Secure - Where I talk about computer and physical security systems.
- CodeFlux – My software consultancy. This started out many years ago, before I returned to academia, as Glenisla Services providing computing facilities in rural Scotland.
- Heavy Wizardry – A domain that I registered but haven’t yet started using. I plan to make it a repository of my GPL licensed code, related Creative Commons licensed materials, and as a hosting domain for any projects that I start and want to have an online presences for. NB. I don’t think that my coding is yet in the realms of the wizards so I consider the naming of this site to be more aspirational than descriptive.
- Research Wiki/Open Notebook – Notes related to my teaching & research activities, as well as any topics that just pique my interest. Basically a place to find out what I am working on or interested in, and give me some feedback if you feel the need to.
- The Collected Works - An amalgamation of all my posts from everywhere else collated via the wonders of autoposting.
- ARG:dundee – Public Website of the Dundee Argumentation Research Group
- LARG:dundee – Private Research Wiki of the Dundee Argumentation Research Group
